Safe & Sustainable: This Earth Day & Beyond

Come celebrate Earth Day with us and join us in our mission to create a healthier environment for future generations.

At theprestonagency, we focus on providing high-quality products that are both chic and eco-friendly. Our range of items is carefully selected from brands with certifications such as GREENGUARD Gold, MADE SAFE, and FSC seal which allows you to get beautiful yet safe baby gear, furniture, and toys for your little one without compromising on your style or sustainability values.

Our aim is to make it easy for all the parents out there to create an inspiring space that is not just aesthetically pleasing but also safe and non-toxic! We asked a few of our eco-centric partners to elaborate on the sustainability of their brands to help increase awareness for the measures already in place to protect our earth, as well as provide the highest quality of baby gear and nursery furniture.

Babyletto

Babyletto

Parents will find safe and sustainable nursery furniture from Babyletto, allowing them to make better choices as they design a beautiful nursery that feels like them. With our award-winning products like the Hudson and Gelato convertible cribs, parents find stylish and consciously crafted must-haves for babies made with sustainably sourced New Zealand Pine which is one of the most renewable wood sources in the world. Excitingly, all of our modern cribs grow with little ones with multiple mattress heights and crib conversions, like the bestselling Yuzu 8-in-1 All-Stages Crib which transitions all the way from a bassinet to a junior bed helping families to reduce furniture waste with pieces built to last.

At Babyletto, we also offer stylish and cozy seating options made with the planet in mind that fit any space in the home, like the Madison Swivel Glider and Kiwi Electronic Recliner. Families can rest assured knowing that all of our seating uses wooden frames coming from well-managed FSC®-certified forests. Each glider, rocker, and recliner is available in an eco-performance fabric that is both water-repellent and stain-resistant. At least 30 recycled plastic bottles go into the making of the eco-performance fabric chairs utilizing LiveSmart® performance fabric and REPREVE® recycled polyester yarn that helps to save recycled water bottles from landfills.

We also partner with CarbonFund.org and One Tree Planted to plant new trees and fund reforestation projects to offset carbon from every product shipped. Carbon offsetting helps balance the CO2 emitted during the shipping process by absorbing the same amount of carbon. Because forests are so important to the health of the planet and slow climate change, in the last year we're proud to have offset over 20,000 tons of CO2 and planted over 4,000 trees.

Bunny Hopkins

Bunny Hopkins

This earth is our home, and it is our collective responsibility to take care of our home.

Renewable resources. Eco-friendly. All natural. For us, these are not buzzwords. It is who we are and how we do what we do. We are a green company and look for everyday opportunities in our manufacturing and operations to be greener.

At Bunny Hopkins, all our products are made of sustainable wood. So, we do not have any plastic footprint. We make our toys from fast-growing American trees in the Appalachian Mountains. These trees are a renewable resource.

The wood, the finishing, the packaging? It is all Made in the USA. We support USA businesses and employees.

This means Bunny Hopkins pays a living wage, right here in the US. The people who work here are highly skilled and you would see that reflected in each wobble board made by us. Some have artisan families here who have been in woodworking for generations. Every wooden toy is a piece of art and handmade with love and care, responsibly and sustainably.

When we say Made in the USA - we mean it in a hand-crafted and artisan kind of way.

Doing right by the environment is embedded in our processes and products.
